July 2017: The Milestone is standing ...

We have commissioned our new Service & Logistics Center in Bad Kreuznach on time, the building site is no more. We cordially invite you to come and take a look at the result on site: take a tour with us through the new hall and let us tell you all about the advantages that we offer you – thanks to a much more extensive stock of spare parts, fast delivery using new processes or certification as a Known Consignor, which we also have for the new hall, from now on.

Our building blog has therefore fulfilled its purpose. Nevertheless, you can take a look at the photos there.

LIGNA 2017: Review

This year’s LIGNA 2017 went extremely well for us – our new trade fair presence convinced both visually and in terms of content. And for all those who did not manage to come to Hannover personally here you can find a short review and some impressions ...

SLS has been increasing the number of qualified technical staff in its Istanbul office to improve customer service for the Turkish market. For this purpose we added three new colleagues to our team.

Celal Akbal is a mechanical engineer. He started working at Siempelkamp İstanbul Office in November 2016  as a mechanical service specialist. Before joining Siempelkamp he worked for several years in the wood based panel industry, mainly at MDF ContiRoll plants, but he also gained experience with short-cycle and multi- daylight press lines. He speaks Turkish and English.

Önder Kursun is an electrical and automation technician and also started working as PLC service specialist at the Siempelkamp Istanbul office in November 2016. For 18 years he worked in the Turkish wood based panel industry at different plants as an electrical and automation specialist, from formaldehyde chemical plants to plywood plants, short-cycle and MDF plants, before ultimately joining the Siempelkamp staff. He speaks Turkish and English.

We have also added a new sales engineer to our team. His tasks are to process customer requests and to maintain close contact with our customers by frequent visits. Barlas Oran joined the Turkish Office as a sales engineer in February 2017. In total he has 3 years experience at the wood based panel industry including being part of the Orma team during installation of the Siempelkamp press line in 2011. He speaks Turkish and English.

With Barlas taking over the task of frequently visiting our customers at regular intervals, Hasan Hamamcı will mainly concentrate on working from the office in order to further improve response times for spare parts inquiries and order processing.

Thus SLS Turkey continuiously improves its services in order to quickly adapt to customer needs and expectations.
