The origin of the company group dates back to the year 1883: Gerhard Siempelkamp revolutionized the textile industry with his drilled hot platens and presses and thus set the basis for the foundation of the company. In more than 13 decades the Siempelkamp product and service portfolio has become a worldwide system supplier for a wide range of end industries.

The Siempelkamp service portfolio
Siempelkamp supplies press lines and complete plants for the wood-based panel industry, the metal forming industry and the composite and rubber industry. The Siempelkamp foundry is one of the world’s largest hand-molding foundries producing castings with a weight of up to 320t (353 US tons). The company also manufactures transport and storage vessels for nuclear waste and is a specialist for dismantling nuclear facilities. Approx. 3,000 employees ensure that the technologies of the “Hidden Champion” are among the world’s best.
