Service & Logistics Center: ground-breaking ceremony

The official ground-breaking was in the presence of many guests including Stefan Wissing and Thomas Dahmen, the SLS Managing Directors, Carmen Lorch, Head of Branch Office, and Elisabeth Bienbeck-Ketelhohn and Dr.-Ing. Hans W. Fechner, the Members of the SLS-Advisory Board. The Chairman of the Advisory Board of G. Siempelkamp GmbH & Co. KG, Dr. rer. nat. h. c. Dieter Siempelkamp was also present. Representing the city and district of Bad Kreuznach the Mayor Dr. Heike Kaster-Meurer and the District Administrator Franz-Josef Diel attended.
Stefan Wissing emphasized during the celebrations the tremendous significance of the new building for SLS and for the future of the company as service and logistics partner. With this big investment we meet our customers’ expectations for an outstanding service. From now on spare parts are available 24/7: Hence our customers are able to reduce their own stocking of spare parts significantly and thus save costs.
In his speech, Dr. rer. nat. h. c. Dieter Siempelkamp looked back into the history of the Siempelkamp group of companies. He also referred to the special advantages of the location in Bad Kreuznach with the proximity to Frankfurt Airport and the outstanding freeway connection.
