Sales success for SLS’s control system division: In Pfleiderer and Berneck, two other wooden materials producers have decided to combine PROD.IQ® with their SAP system. The aim, among other things, is optimised performance analysis and online quality control.
Successful symposium in Turkey
Event of SLS and SICO attracts Siempelkamp customers to Istanbul
We will go where our customers need us – and from 11 to 12 October 2018 Istanbul was our destination.
SLS and Sico jointly invited to a symposium there to exchange ideas with Turkish Siempelkamp customers and to present the latest developments, trends and innovations. The more than 100 participants who accepted the invitation showed the great interest in it.
Service & Logistics Center officially inaugurated
Successful celebration in the new building
Good-humored guests, pleasant live music, bright blue sky: the conditions for the inauguration of our Service & Logistics Center in Bad Kreuznach were perfect.
So it turned out to be a really nice celebration with many guests who were welcomed by our Managing Directors Thomas Dahmen and Dr. Stephan Niggeschmidt. The guests included the Honorary Chairman of the Advisory Board Dr. rer. nat. h. c. Dieter Siempelkamp, the Chairman of the Advisory Board Dr. Martin Stark, Elisabeth Bienbeck-Ketelhohn and Dr. -Ing. Hans W. Fechner as Managing Directors of the Siempelkamp Holding as well as Managing Directors and employees of other subsidiary companies. Many employees from our Krefeld and Wolfratshausen locations had also travelled to Bad Kreuznach to celebrate the inauguration with us.
New Managing Director
Dr. Stephan Niggeschmidt joins the board of management of SLS
Since 1 January, Dr. Stephan Niggeschmidt has strengthened the board of management of SLS. As a newly appointed and thus third managing director, he is now responsible for the company management together with Stefan Wissing and Thomas Dahmen.
Intensify the already very good customer relationships
Due to his previous activities, Dr. Niggeschmidt has respective professional know-how and leadership experience. The industrial engineer and PhD in mechanical engineering joined the company in May of 2013 as head of the SLS technical service department. In 2014, Dr. Niggeschmidt became responsible for spare parts sales, service installations, retrofits and upgrades as the branch manager of the SLS branch office in Krefeld.
Dr. Niggeschmidt announced “It is clear for us, how the SLS will develop: Industry 4.0 is followed by service 4.0. For this we naturally rely on state-of-the art technologies. Thus we want to offer our customers an additional benefit by providing new services and to intensify the already very good customer relationships”.
Siempelkamp’s MES & Industrial IT Department now belongs to SLS
Bundling of competencies and further expanded service
A new addition: The MES & Industrial IT department of Siempelkamp Maschinen- und Anlagenbau GmbH has been integrated into SLS since January 1, 2018. Your advantages: Bundling of Siempelkamp competencies and further expanded service with the same contact persons as before.

SLS MODERNIZES FERMACELL’S MOVABLE CYCLE PRESS
Gypsum fiber manufacturer Fermacell has contracted us with a complete package for the modernization of their movable cycle press at its Dutch production site in Wijchen.
Service & Logistics Center Bad Kreuznach: the new building is completed

We have commissioned our new Service & Logistics Center in Bad Kreuznach on time, the building site is no more. We cordially invite you to come and take a look at the result on site: take a tour with us through the new hall and let us tell you all about the advantages that we offer you – thanks to a much more extensive stock of spare parts, fast delivery using new processes or certification as a Known Consignor, which we also have for the new hall, from now on.
