For 28 years the continuous particleboard press Line 1 of our customer Tafisa Canada has been operating reliably. After our upgrade specialists have subjected this ContiRoll® press line A0468 to a comprehensive modernization, it will continue to do so in the future - only more efficiently and with less resource consumption.
Good international cooperation
Upgrade implemented in only two months
The project involved the complete modernization of the original press with state-of-the-art technology, including a new press infeed, hot platens with higher heating power, improved distribution of the hydraulic zones and the use of electronic and mechanical components of the latest design. These measures, carried out within 2 months, ensure more uniform physical characteristics, better surface properties and more precise control of the board thickness.
The result of the upgrade:

The modification work started in February of this year and despite the COVID 19 pandemic, Tafisa was able to restart production in mid-April - thanks to good international cooperation with our sister companies in the USA and Australia and strict hygiene measures. We are happy about the successful outcome of the project and wish Tafisa Canada a successful production.
