Brief profile

World market leader in the area of continuous presses for wood-based products

The centerpiece of many plants, the ContiRoll® from Siempelkamp, is suitable for panel-type wood-based materials and with over 300 references our ContiRoll® is the world market leader in the area of continuous presses for wood-based products.

The ContiRoll® in use

Innovative power in generation 9

The distinctive feature of the ContiRoll® is the patented flexible press infeed section. Since its development it has been continuously adapted to the growing demands of our customers for product quality and user-friendliness – meanwhile the 9th generation of the continuous press is available. Numerous international patents prove the innovative power behind this concept.

Modification concepts

SLS-solutions for increased capacity and quality

Now in the 9th generation of the press, we offer various component-specific modernization processes for the ContiRoll®, which considerably improve press performance.

Modification example: for best pressure distribution and a broadened product portfolio

For the optimal production of very light or extremely thin wood-based panels, special pressure profiles are required in the longitudinal and transverse direction of the press. In order to produce these, the ContiRoll® can be equipped with additional differential cylinders for optimized transverse pressure distribution and retrofitted with pressure distribution plates for improved longitudinal pressure distribution.
