EDI – Electronic Data Interchange

For efficient processes
and reduced costs

One of our solutions for reducing operating costs is automated processes – the digitization of business processes. This digitization process also includes the electronic data interchange, abbreviated EDI, between you as our customer and us.

Automation through EDI
Use the potential

This process is suitable for the automation of administrative and recurring tasks, e.g. for the ordering process of standard spare parts. In addition to the interface itself the only requirement is to reconcile article master data, i.e. article numbers of customer and supplier, price and price validity, delivery time, Incoterms, terms of payment, etc. This data must be kept at the same level in both ERP systems, for example through annual list reconciliation. For implementation of the EDI-interface we work together with a specialized provider in order to easily integrate specific ERP features.

SLS as supplier for everything
For multiple cost savings

The EDI-interface and the fully automated ordering process result in considerably reduced process costs. Reconciled article and price lists make individual price enquiries and the associated delays unnecessary. In addition all required spare parts can be obtained from SLS at competitive prices, many of these spare parts are in stock. Thus, besides the advantages of the automated ordering process, the number of suppliers can also be reduced – another cost advantage for you.
