Replacement of friction linings

For a stable production and high quality

The friction linings of the outfeed drums wear during the operating life of a ContiRoll® press. To guarantee stable production with high quality, it is necessary to regularly inspect the friction linings and also replace them if necessary.

  • Disruptions and production loss
  • Delta V problems
  • Increased wear and possible damage of the steel belt

Our service

This Service Package includes

  1. If required: pre-inspection to determine the condition of the equipment and to define the volume of work and the spare parts needed
  2. Individual planning of personnel and resources
  3. Supply of all necessary spare parts in OEM quality
  4. Coordination and supervision of the work on site
    + Dismantling of the worn friction linings
    + Installation of the new friction linings
    + Inspection of the mechanical press function on recommissioning

Time schedule and personnel demand

  1. Dates and personnel demand will be specified individually
  2. The time taken to replace the friction linings varies according to the scope of the work as well as the size and model generation of the press
  3. Sample duration of service operation: approx. 3 days for replacement of the friction linings on both rollers, 2 shifts with approx. 5 persons (1 supervisor, 4 industrial mechanics) per shift (of 10 h)

Price

After the time schedule and the personnel demand have been defined, a fixed price will be agreed, including all expenses and costs for travel and accommodation. All additional work carried out will be invoiced according to time and materials.
